Abstract

Research on cultural transformation is a topic that has always been of great interest at different stages of a country's development because culture is considered the spiritual foundation of society, reflecting the vivid life of each community and ethnic group. The process of cultural transformation of an ethnic group is always situated within a specific historical context and involves reciprocal influences between cultural factors and socioeconomic development objectives. This article utilizes a method of synthesis of theory and practice, providing an overview of existing research, documents from researchers, scholars, statistical organizations, and government agencies in recent times to highlight the changes in some aspects of Vietnam's ethnic cultures in the context of the general and comprehensive building of a new countryside.

Based on the identified results of positive and negative cultural transformations of ethnic groups, the author proposes policy solutions and future research directions aiming to preserve and promote the beautiful cultural values of each ethnic group, which can serve as the foundation and motivation for overall socioeconomic development and the specific implementation of the new rural development goals.
