Abstract
To evaluate the preliminary results of ultrasound-guided aspiration and ethanol sclerotherapy for the treatment of ovarian endometrioma.
Case presentation: A 38-year-old female patient presented with chronic abdominal pain and was diagnosed with an ovarian endometrioma cyst without suspected malignancy. She underwent ultrasound-guided aspiration and ethanol sclerotherapy.
Results: One month post-treatment, the patient showed significant improvement in both clinical symptoms and imaging findings.
Conclusion: Ultrasound-guided aspiration and ethanol sclerotherapy represent a viable treatment option for ovarian endometriomas, particularly in patients at high surgical risk or those who prefer non-surgical approaches
