Abstract

After 28 years of implementing the 1991 Political platform and over 8 years of implementing the 2011 Political platform, Vietnam has got great historical achievements in the path to socialism and national defense. However, there still exist complex issues and shortcomings that need to be addressed in order to bring the country to a fast and sustanable development. The article affirms the values of the Political platform and recommends issues to be supplemented and developed in the
current period.
