Abstract
Tan Phu District was officially established on December 02, 2003 according to Decree No. 130/2003/ND-CP dated November 05, 2003 by the Government. With 20 years of administrative history, the land and people in Tan Phu district have inherited valuable heritage from a long history of formation and development that is closely associated with the history of Saigon - Gia Dinh - Cho Lon in the past and Ho Chi Minh City today. It is the responsibility of today and future generations to effectively preserve and promote these historical and cultural values.
