Innovation of teaching methods of Marxist-Leninist Theory subjects in universities in Vietnam today

Abstract

Marxist-Leninist theory subjects, including Marxist-Leninist philosophy, Marxist-Leninist political economy, and scientific socialism, whose basic function is to equip students with a systematic body of scientific and modern political theoretical knowledge, lay the foundation for building political stance and willpower and revolutionary ideals for them. Therefore, researching and teaching Marxist-Leninist theory subjects plays a very important role, contributing to the formation of political courage, moral qualities, and lifestyles, and orientation of thinking and action, thereby raising students' sense of responsibility and positive attitude in building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation. The article focuses on clarifying the need to innovate teaching methods for Marxist-Leninist theory subjects in universities in Vietnam, and, on that basis, it proposes measures with the aim to innovate teaching methods for Marxist-Leninist theory subjects in the current period.
