Educational lessons from reading section among literary texts in vietnamese book 4 (connecting knowledge with life)

Abstract

The two Vietnamese booklets 4 of Connecting Knowledge with Life (KNTTVCS) were compiled based on the modern language teaching perspective of the 2018 General Education Program in Literature. Among them, the literary texts in the Reading section are highly educational. Each reading text is a gentle yet deeply passionate lesson for students about kindness, loving and appreciating themselves. Also, each reading text educates students about the tradition of drinking water remember its source, at the same time, arouses their noble dreams as well as determination and efforts to realize those ones. The abstract content in each lesson is transformed into specific situations, actions, words... suitable for the cognitive and psychological abilities of 4th grade students.
