Abstract

The article analyzes some characteristics and architectural values ​​of architectural decoration lines on "wood and stone" at two temples of King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh in Hoa Lu ancient capital Complex. These carving wooden architecture of both temples which are reserved, have a special value of the seventeenth century sculpture art - the highest peak of the three golden centuries of Vietnamese folk wood sculpture (The seventeenth century, the eighteenth century). Through learning about sculpting art on wood, stone at the temple of King Dinh Tien Hoang and the temple of King Le Dai Hanh help us to closer to our pre-generations, understand somewhat the spiritual world as well as these desires and worries of daily life of the ancients. These are vivid documents signaling the history of aesthetic model, the fluctuations in society each period. Since then, a number of boring tournaments exploit and promote the value of the two temples in tourism activities today.
