Abstract

Opportunism - from V.I.Lenin's point of view, is a distortion of international opportunism (Berstinism) in Russia with an attempt to revise Marxism under the guise of "freedom of criticism" as freedom. due to opportunistic tendencies in the social-democratic party. Opportunism is an "internal invader", its consequences are very dangerous, destroying the Party and losing the People's trust in the Party. In all periods, preventing, combating and fighting against opportunism is an important and regular task of every grassroots Party organization and every cadre and Party member. Therefore, researching and applying V.I.Lenin's views on preventing, combating and fighting opportunism in our country's current practice is of special importance. The article presents V.I. Lenin's views on opportunism in his work "What to do?" and its significance for Vietnam today.
