Training tourism human resources to achieve international standards in Vietnam today – some issues raised
Abstract
Training human resources for the tourism industry has been discussed in many forums, especially since Vietnam's tourism sector was designated as a key national economic sector. However, in the context of increasingly deep international integration, the training of human resources for the tourism industry in Vietnam is facing a new requirement: internationalization. This article focuses on analyzing the necessity of training tourism human resources to international standards, while also analyzing the challenges in implementing international-level tourism human resource training in Vietnam. Based on this analysis, the author proposes several solutions to improve the effectiveness of international-level tourism human resource training in the current period.
