Factors Affecting the Development of the Green Fruit and Vegetable Supply Chain in Da Lat: The Mediating Role of Collaboration

Abstract

This study builds upon the theoretical framework of factors influencing collaboration in fruit and vegetable supply chains and extends it to the context of developing a green fruit and vegetable supply chain in Da Lat. The proposed research model examines the effects of eight factors on supply chain collaboration. The study contributes in three main respects: (i) it adds a green supply chain perspective to the local fruit and vegetable sector; (ii) it proposes the mediating role of collaboration; and (iii) it suggests a measurement system and managerial implications for firms, cooperatives, and regulatory authorities in Da Lat.
