Abstract
This study aims to identify the factors influencing the development of innovation intermediary capacity in universities. Based on theoretical foundations, a conceptual model is proposed, including four groups of factors (organizational, network, institutional, and resource) affecting intermediary capacity across three dimensions: operational, networking, and commercialization capacity. A quantitative approach was employed with a sample of 350 respondents, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results indicate that all factors positively influence intermediary capacity, with network and resource factors having the strongest effects. The study provides important implications for improving intermediary capacity and promoting innovation ecosystems in Vietnamese higher education institutions.
