New points regarding the viewpoints and goals for national construction and development in the Documents of the 14th National Party Congress

Abstract

The 14th National Party Congress (January 2026) is a particularly important political event, opening a new development era of the nation to realize the goal of building a Vietnam: peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, strong, civilized, happy, steadily advancing to socialism. Through summarizing 40 years of conducting the renewal cause, especially the results of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party (2021), the viewpoints and goals for national construction and development in the 14th National Congress Documents were formed on the basis of inheriting, supplementing, and developing the previously determined viewpoints and goals; while also adding new points reflecting the requirements of the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new development era as well as the trends and developments of the times.
