Realizing the new points on personnel work in the 14th National Congress Documents of the Communist Party of Vietnam

Abstract

Personnel work is the key factor, with decisive significance for the Party’s leadership and ruling capacity and the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system’s operations. The Documents of the 14th National Party Congress reflect the innovative thinking, strategic vision, and requirements to build a cadre contingent at all levels, especially strategic levels, with sufficient qualities, capacities, prestige, commensurate with the tasks. On the basis of clarifying the core content of the new points on personnel work in the 14th National Congress Documents, this article identifies the theoretical and practical basis for realizing the new points on personnel work, meeting the requirements of Party building in the new development stage of the country
