The Party’s perception of the colonial economy in Vietnam (1930-1945)
Abstract
Since 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam entered the political arena, taking on the mission of leading the revolution for the goals of independence, freedom, and socialism. During the struggle for power and national liberation (1930-1945), the Party has increasingly perfected its thinking on the path of the Vietnamese revolution, including a clear understanding of the nature of the Vietnamese economy and society in particular and Indochina in general under the rule of French colonialism, and from 1940 under the rule of France - Japan, along with the contradictions within the colonial society that needed to be resolved. The awareness of the colonial economy is one of the important bases for the Party to formulate the path of national liberation and class liberation.
