Abstract
Abstract: This article summarizes the current status of employment access of the LGBT community (gay, bisexual and transgender people) through existing research works. Studies show that there are differences in access to employment within each group, specifically that transgender people have a harder time getting a job, paying a salary, or getting a promotion. At the same time, the article also analyzes the barriers to access to employment services of the LGBT community, whereby stigma and discrimination are considered major barriers for this group. On the basis of the above analysis, the article also offers suggestions for further research directions on the employment of the LGBT community.
