A review of the policy outcomes of United States President Joe Biden’s term
Keywords
Abstract
From 2021 to 2025, President Joe Biden implemented an ambitious agenda to rebuild and restore the United States’ global standing, with a primary focus on containing China. While his administration achieved several notable successes, some of its efforts have failed to produce the desired outcomes. In particular, the failure to encircle and restrain Russia, along with the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, dealt a significant blow to the credibility of Biden’s administration. This article examines the successes and shortcomings of his presidency, assessing its overall impact on U.S. domestic and foreign policy.
