Currently, English is one of the important subjects in training programs at universities in Vietnam. The practice of teaching and learning English for non-majors at universities in recent years shows that, besides the positive results achieved, there are still limitations. This article researches and proposes some basic solutions to contribute to improving the quality of English teaching and learning for non-majors at universities in the current period.
