It can be said that programming skills are a basic requirement for Information Technology students, this is obvious for students who intend to pursue a career in software production. For students in other directions, programming also helps students grasp lessons better and apply learned knowledge into practice. The article presents some difficulties when teaching programming and then offers some solutions to help improve students’ programming skills in the 4.0 industrial revolution.
