In the field of documentation and archiving, standardization has been applied to certain industry standards, such as terminology standards and file cover standards. However, to date, the development and application of standards have not been widespread in agencies and have not been considered essential within the industry, particularly in activities related to file creation and submission for agency archiving. Standardizing work records to serve educational quality accreditation is an urgent requirement in universities today. Based on theoretical and practical research, this article analyzes the importance and content of work record standardization and proposes several general criteria for standardizing the components of work records in universities in Vietnam.
