In the context of cultural globalization, the influence of popular culture is leading to the decline of traditional cultural values, depriving elementary school students of the opportunity to access and experience the national culture. These are significant challenges to the formation and nurturing of national pride for students. In this context, social media plays an important role as a communication channel to educate national pride, contribute to the preservation and promotion of the national cultural identity for future generations. The article analyzes the impacts of globalization on the national pride of elementary school students, while clarifying the role and solutions of applying social media. To maximize the effectiveness of social media, the article proposes solutions for both short-term and long-term applications to find suitable ways to educate national pride for this group.
