Sociology is a subject trained for students with many majors at Vinh Phuc College. Since 2016, the college has switched to credit-based training. By 2021, especially 2023, training requirements which were close to reality, future careers and increased autonomy for students were increasingly high. Therefore, the method of teaching this subject faces many difficulties, and it is necessary to have measures to improve teaching effectiveness. Starting from that requirement, the article addresses the current situation and teaching solutions to ensure basic knowledge appropriate to students. In this article, teaching is linked to reality and future career education; besides, students are guided to study and review to achieve high exam results as well as improve the quality of Sociology.
