This paper addresses fundamental issues regarding the theory and practice of experiential activities and career guidance aimed at developing competencies for secondary school students. It proposes measures to enhance the management of experiential activities and career guidance for competency development at Hoang Mai Secondary School, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi City. These measures include: increasing awareness among management staff, teachers, and other educational forces about experiential activities and career guidance aimed at competency development; planning, organizing, and directing experiential activities and career guidance to develop students' competencies; training teachers and career counselors in competency development; and strengthening the socialization of organizing experiential activities and career guidance for competency development.
