The integrated education program for landmine and explosive accident prevention at the primary school level in five central provinces of Vietnam: Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên Huế, Đà Nẵng, and Quảng Nam has been implemented over the past four years. This program is highly significant as many unexploded ordnances from the war remain in these areas. This paper investigates the integrated education content for landmine and explosive accident prevention at the primary school level and presents survey results to verify the current status of the implementation of this content in the primary education programs in these provinces. Based on these findings, the paper proposes several recommendations to improve the integrated education activities for landmine and explosive accident prevention in primary schools.
