Extracurricular activities serve as a valuable tool for learners to apply language skills in authentic settings; however, it may not always be feasible for teachers to coordinate class participation in such activities. This challenge is further compounded for students who hold official positions or work in civil service. Therefore, revamping the content and structure of organizing events like galas and picnics for practicing English and Chinese can be a viable solution to enhance the quality of foreign language education in China. The Center for Foreign Languages - Informatics at Nguyen Van Cu Staff Training School emphasizes the importance of integrating practical knowledge with theoretical learning to enrich students’ educational experience.
