Nowadays, English is considered a widely used language all over the world. In Vietnam, English proficiency allows individuals to communicate effectively in both scientific and working environments. Among the English proficiency skills, listening is an important but challenging skill, requiring learners to effectively use note-taking skills and strategies. The purpose of this paper is to identify the current difficulties that students are facing in taking notes in listening comprehension tasks and to propose appropriate note-taking methods that can help learners improve their listening skills.
