This paper explores the definition of speaking English, errors and error correction. It also focuses on the various categories of mistakes learners tend to make during English-speaking lessons, such as grammatical, lexical, vocabulary and pronunciation errors. Besides, emphasis is placed on the two methods of error correction and the appropriate timing to do. The study parly somewhat alludes the importance of creating a supportive environment that encourages risk-taking while promoting language development.
