Tóm tắt

In Vietnam, there is currently a basic legal framework system to organize social work activities in hospitals, focusing on developing social work in the health sector in the period 2021-2030 and this decision emphasizes the development goal social work services in health facilities nationwide (including medical examination and treatment establishment and preventive health establishment). Reality also shows that central hospitals are the last line of treatment for people with serious and chronic illnesses, so almost all central hospitals are overloaded with examining and treating patients. This puts great pressure on both hospitals, medical staff as well as patients and their families. In the process of providing each service, there are many factors that impact the effectiveness and quality of the service. Therefore, research on factors affecting information, communication, and education services to improve patient understanding is very necessary. This research serves the teaching of social work at Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
