TEACHING VIETNAMESE FOLK LITERATURE: INDIGENOUS VOICES IN A GLOBALIZED CONTEXT

Under the influence of globalization, the teaching and preservation of Vietnamese folk literature
faces numerous challenges. This study proposes a set of theoretical suggestions for integrating folk
literature into modern educational curricula. Drawing on selected international models and current
practices in Vietnam, this study reaffirms the urgency of incorporating technology while maintaining
cultural authenticity in the learning process. Notably, the involvement of indigenous communities in
education is presented as a transformative factor inspiring flexible and practical educational models
attuned to contemporary needs. Ultimately, this article seeks to contribute a scholarly foundation for
future research on the pedagogy of folk literature.
