In the context of the increasingly developing tourism industry and the growing demand for
high-quality human resources, assessing the level of professional skill recognition of graduates to
meet business needs is a crucial issue. This article focuses on analyzing the level of professional skill
recognition of students in the Culture and Tourism Department of Yen Bai Vocational College to meet
the practical requirements of businesses operating in the tourism and service sector. Based on surveys of
graduates, lecturers, and business representatives, the article evaluates the current state of students’ basic
professional skills such as professional skills, communication skills, teamwork skills, and professional
conduct. The results show that students generally meet the requirements of businesses; however, there
are still some limitations that need further improvement to enhance the quality of training and the career
adaptability of students after graduation.
