Abstract

ABSTRACT
Forming mathematical symbols for preschool children plays an important role in the development of
children’s thinking. In that process, assessment is an indispensable stage to help teachers detect mistakes
in children and thereby adjust appropriate activities to help children form symbols accurately, richly and
systematically. The assessment is expressed in daily assessment, assessment after period or after topic, with
special emphasis on assessment of cognitive indicators. This assessment need use appropriate and effective
methods.
