With the development of science and technology, besides traditional educational methods, a lot of new methods of education have appeared, among the methods, online education is teaching and learning based on information technology, software applications, and global connection by the Internet. The advent of online training is like a revolution, opening a new stage in education. The new educational method poses many problems to consider and solve, by analyzing and synthesizing relevant materials, throughout practical experience in online training, we briefly offer analyze the characteristics of online training, in general, the advantages and disadvantages in foreign language teaching, in particular. Based on teaching practice, we also make some introduction and evaluation of online training applications that have been used in foreign language lessons, namely: Zoom and Microsoft Teams applications. Based on practical experience, some lessons have been drawn, to make the online training process more effective.
