AK submachine gun shooting skills are one of the important basic knowledge and skills groups of the National Defense Education subject. Through the use of appropriate research methods, the main purpose of the study is to evaluate actual conditions, thereby proposing appropriate solutions to improve practical skills of AK submachine gun shooting techniques for students of People’s Police College 1. The results obtained show that the target group’s teaching activities and practical skills in AK submachine gun shooting techniques are still limited. Research through practical assessment and professional documents, propose appropriate solutions including: Enhance awareness for lecturers and students about the position, role, and importance of improving the quality of AK submachine gun shooting technical content; Improve the quality of national education lecturers to meet immediate and long-term requirements; Diversify forms of training AK submachine gun shooting skills for students; Continue to invest in upgrading facilities and equipment, improving and upgrading sports fields and training grounds to serve teaching activities in the direction of modernization.
