Advanced Mathematics is one of the important foundation subjects in the training program for students at Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment. However, teaching this subject still has some limitations, which partly affects students’ learning effectiveness. To improve the effectiveness of applying new teaching methods in teaching advanced mathematics to school students, the author conducted research on the current status of teaching this subject at the school. Since then, the project has proposed a number of solutions to improve the effectiveness of applying new teaching methods.
