In an educational context, assessment is the process of describing, collecting, recording, scoring, and interpreting information about learning. Both testing and assessment play an important role in language teaching and learning. However, testing-assessment is not really effective to general English courses at Bac Lieu University based on reliability, validity and authenticity of the test.
