The article has formulated and introduced regulations on DGPS positioning at sea and multi-beam echo sounder technology, and procedures for measuring and creating seabed topographic maps used with echo sounders. The article has provided and presented arguments in the process of creating seabed topographic maps using the EM 710 multi-beam echo sounder.
