The 5E instructional model, consisting of the steps: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate, has been successfully implemented in various places around the world. The article illustrates the application of the 5E model in teaching advanced mathematics content to university students in a direction integrated with exploratory learning, discovery-based learning, and problem-solving instruction, aiming to enhance the quality of education.
