The national defense education in universities plays an irreplaceable role in the process of talents cultivation. In the new situation, civil – military integration should be strengthened. More elements, such as national defense education, military use, military culture, should be completely integrated into the whole process of university education. Meanwhile, the optimization of military theory teaching and professional teaching staff is necessary to improve the effectiveness of national defense education in universities.
