This research endeavors to address psychological challenges encountered by second-year non-major (SYNM) students at Dong Thap University when practicing spoken English. The research methodology involved collecting data from 150 SYNM students through questionnaires and interviews, drawing insights from literature on the psychological aspects of language learning. This study aims to propose effective solutions to alleviate these challenges and enhance students’ spoken English proficiency.
