The role of women in countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) in families and its implications for Vietnam
Abstract
This article focuses on analyzing the role of women in the countries of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) in the family and drawing lessons for Vietnam. In the field of reproduction, women not only play a role in maintaining the population but also ensuring the sustainable development of society through nurturing the young generation. When it comes to educating children, they are the first teachers, imparting moral values and life skills, helping to form children's personality and social awareness. Despite facing many challenges in economic and social conditions, women in SADC maintain an important role through their resilience and determination. Lessons from SADC countries provide many practical values for Vietnam in supporting and promoting the role of women, especially through policies to improve health, education and economic conditions for women.
