Applications of artificial intelligence in education: a systematic analysis
Abstract
In the context of rapid global digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly significant role in education. This paper employs a systematic literature review to comprehensively analyze current applications of AI in education, identify major challenges, and explore future trends. Based on an analysis of 30 selected studies from the Science Direct database, the findings indicate that AI contributes to personalized learning, supports teachers in instruction and assessment, and enhances educational management efficiency. However, the implementation of AI also faces significant barriers, including ethical concerns, data privacy issues, technological access inequality, and algorithmic bias. The study proposes several practical recommendations to promote the effective and equitable integration of AI into the Vietnamese education system, while emphasizing the importance of developing ethical, learner-centered AI systems for the future of education.
