Proactively preventing and responding to contemporary non-traditional security threats in the spirit of the 13th Party Congress

Abstract

In recent years, the prevention and response to threats from non-traditional security have always been a pressing issue for all countries. Our Party has early identified the threats from non-traditional security that have been and are strongly impacting all areas in general, and the task of protecting national security and safeguarding the Fatherland in particular. Using the dialectical materialism and historical materialism methods of MarxismLeninism; logic combined with history, analysis and synthesis, statistics and comparison and the characteristics of the security sector, this article analyzes and clarifies the XIII Congress's viewpoint on proactively preventing and responding to current threats from nontraditional security. Based on the study of this issue, the entire Party and the people need to have a correct understanding and appropriate actions to contribute to protecting the ideological foundation of the Party and successfully implementing the two revolutionary tasks of Vietnam: successfully building socialism and firmly safeguarding socialist Vietnam.
