The Solutions for Building a 'People's Heart Defense' in Cyberspace to Contribute to Protecting the Ideological Foundation of the Communist Party of Vietnam

Abstract

"The history of nation-building and safeguarding of Vietnam has proven that the 'people's defense posture' is a crucial factor in determining the formation of political, military, and defense strength, helping the military to defeat all invading enemies and firmly protect the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland. Today, with the rapid development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), especially the growth of the internet and information technology, the hostile forces’ sabotage does not only take place on the ground but also increasingly intensifies in cyberspace. Therefore, building the 'people's defense posture' in cyberspace is a new and important aspect of constructing the people's defense posture in particular and the all-people national defense in general, which requires attention from the Party and the State. This article will clarify related concepts, identify the schemes and tactics of hostile forces in cyberspace, and on this basis, propose some solutions for building the 'people's defense posture' in cyberspace.
