Abstract

This article analyzes the Marxist-Leninist perspective, Ho Chi Minh’s thought, and the Party’s view on the intricate relationship between economy and culture. It emphasizes the crucial role of harmonizing this relationship in the development of tourism, particularly in Vietnam’s northern mountainous and border provinces. Based on both theoretical frameworks and practical experiences, this study proposes recommendations to ensure that economic growth and cultural preservation go hand-in-hand in tourism development. The goal is to build upon past successes while addressing existing challenges and limitations.
