Phát huy nguồn lực di sản văn hóa trong xây dựng và phát triển thương hiệu “Thành phố sáng tạo” của thành phố Hà Nội
Abstract
In the context of globalization and digital transformation, many cities worldwide are moving toward sustainable development connected with their unique cultural identity. The “Creative Cities” model, initiated by UNESCO in 2004, has become an important strategy to promote development based on innovation and cultural heritage. With its millennium-long history and culture, Hanoi was recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City in the field of design in 2019. This title is both an honor and an opportunity for Hanoi to promote the value of its traditional heritage, build a brand as a creative urban center, and integrate internationally. Cultural heritage is not merely an object for preservation but also a living resource and a driving force for creative economic development. This article clarifies the role of heritage in building Hanoi’s “Creative City” brand and proposes solutions to effectively exploit this resource.
