As a sustainable tourism trend, agritourism is an effective tool for balancing the needs of tourists with those of rural communities, creating genuine opportunities for economic and social development while minimizing adverse environmental impacts. With its favorable natural and geographical conditions, Ben Tre possesses significant potential for agritourism development. This approach offers a new livelihood strategy that not only enhances rural economic growth but also addresses the challenges of climate change, preserves the natural environment and ecosystems, and safeguards the cultural traditions of local communities.
