Study on effect of synthesis fibers on the properties of high-strength lighweight concrete using fly ash Cenospheres
Abstract
This paper presents experimental results using reinforced fibers to improve the mechanical properties of high-strength lightweight concrete made from hollow spherical particles called cenospheres. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of incorporating various types of fibers into lightweight concrete. The results demonstrated that the use of reinforcing fibers increased the flexural strength and reduced the shrinkage of lightweight concrete. Cenospheres were chosen as the main material due to their lightweight and excellent thermal insulation properties, which enhance the acoustic and thermal insulation properties of concrete. This study proposes a novel method for optimizing the mix composition of high-strength lightweight concrete, addressing both technical and environmental requirements.
