Abstract

In this research, geopolymer mortar is investigated by mixing fly ash and bottom ash with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) to activate in geopolymerization. In the mix proportion, the amount of bottom ash in range from 20 to 100 % by weight is investigated. The results are indicated that the flow diameters are increased up to 70 % by mixing alkaline solution in range from 0.4 to 0.8 by fly ash weight. Moreover, strengths are raise up to 50 %. On the other hand, the flow diameter and flow time are tend to increase up to 30 % and obtained 10 – 11 sec, respectively, by replacement of bottom ash in rangs from 20 to 100 % by sand weight. However, strength is tend to reduce about 40 %. In the mix proportion, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is used as foam agent in range from 1 to 5 % by volume. The expansion degrees are obtained tp to 40 % by foam agent. After curing condition, the strength of concrete can be obtained by amount of foam agent and alkaline solution. Then, light weight geopolymer concrete can be produced by mixing fly ash, bottom ash and H2O2 agent to geopolymerization.
