Study on some methods of determination of soil deformation modulus

Abstract

The main content of the article is to introduce methods to determine the deformation modulus from the consolidation compression test in the laboratory, the plate bearing test, and the pressuremetr - PMT test. On the basis of comparing the results between the experiments, it is possible to rely on the results of the deformation modulus from the Oedometer test to adjust and calculate the settlement of the foundation accurately and in accordance with the actual work.
