Abstract

ABSTRACT
Stability and deformation of surrounding soil environment during drilling plays an important role in tunnel construction. Based on analytical and numerical methods, stress-strain state of surrounding soil of circular tunnel is evaluated and analyzed. The results show that circular tunnel diameter of 4000 mm excavated in hard and soft clay treated with soil cement column is ensures and stable during construction and it is suitable for jacking sewer diameter 3920 mm. This result allows effective use of construction equipment for whole project with different geological conditions. The basis and results of calculation are necessary experience for similar constructions.
