HIDDEN CORNERS OF OUR COUNTRY MODERNIZATION IN THE WORKS OF YOUNG WRITERS IN THE SOUTHEAST OF VIET NAM

Abstract

Industrialization and modernization have become a strong wave affecting all countries and all aspects of social life. The Southeast region is home to many urban centers connecting the provinces of the South Central and South Central Highlands. The speed of industrial development in this land is very strong. The Southeast is also the place to produce talented people as well as good writers. The article takes the thought of the generation of young writers especially Tran Thu Hang, Nguyen Thu Phuong, Tran Duc Tien and Khoi Vu as evidence to deploy the consequences of modernization and globalization. From the survey of works, the article conducts an analysis combined with comparison, synthesis to clarify the impacts of industrialization and modernization processes that have affected human life. Through the work, authors has shown a lot of changes in the value system, many problems are gained and lost in the process of modernization of the country. These analyses hope to add a voice in understanding the young writers in the Southeast and re-assess modernity.
